OK, folks bear with me for a minute.

I have a 2008 Dodge Charger RT Daytona with the factory MyGig Navigation and "premium" Boston Acoustics 368 watt 7 speaker system. This sytem has the following speakers:

Front dash - 3.5"
Front Doors - 6"x9"
Rear Dash - 6"x9"
Rear Dash - 8" passive sub

The factory amp seems to have preset filters for all of the main speakers, which happen to be 2 ohm rated. Overall, I like the system but there's no clarity to any of the front speakers, mainly the dash, where all of the factory amps power appears to be focused.

Others have used the Infinity Kappa line-up with success, but I would rather use something CDT Audio related. I'm looking at the HD-2's for the front dash replacement.

I would greatly appreciate any suggestions that you all may have. Thank you in advance.

Heck you could almost do a nice 3-way setup with that. What's your budget like? Any pics of the mounting locations or the full dash itself?

Cass23VSU4, I've moved your thread to the newly created speaker forum. Sorry for any inconvenience.

I agree with Mike. Do a nice 3 way passive set-up and you will be very happy. You should have no problem at all fitting a 3" speaker in the dash. You may even be able to fit a 4" but I would measure for that first. There is a PSS set called PSS-0632iCC. It comes with a midbass, mid range, tweeter and crossover. I would highly reccommend that. That would be your top of the line choice.

To save some money you could go with an HD642 which would also be nice. I know that comes with a 4" mid but you should be able to get that replaced with a 3".

If your budget allows the PSS I would go with that hands down. PM mike for assistance. He helped me out a while back and I have been very pleased.
