I myself chose processing. Right now I have an ES-06+ playing from 65hz and up. If I had processing it would play from 65-200 roughly. My midrange is the same and is playing from I think 200 and up. I also do not have any time delay. Since I am using the crossovers on my amps I am using a 12bd slope on everything. Once JBL releases the MS-8 processor this will all be solved.

Another vote for processing. I'm stuck with the built-in features on my 9887 at the moment. Haven't had the chance to install a true processor yet. H701...BitOne...MS-8...Pio combo....who knows......
I'm liking the JBL MS-8 from preliminary specs also though. Should be a sick processor.
i think its install for me
i need tuning, tuning and more tuning

If you need tuning that is more the processor but I see you have one. What don't you like about your install?
i like everything but i know i can get more with finetuning like give a little angle to my ES-07 in my door, move tweeter just a little bit
but I love the sound as it is now, but when have a passion, always find something to do for giving a little something more than other in IASCA competition
car audio is a never ending story and its perfect for me like that :)

very true. my wife gets a little jealous of my car audio sometimes :D
for your tweeter take some velcro or double sided tape and mount the tweeter is every possible location you can and listen to them all to see what you like best.

I went w/ processing as well. Though its more like a HU/processing combo :D. I'm not much for extravagant processing anyway. So a HU w/ a decent EQ & T/A should get me the little extra I crave from not having the most ideal install. Hopefully finding that perfect HU will be the last piece to the puzzle...for now anyway ;)

The Eclipse 7200 may fit your needs.

I'm going to say the install, because i'm the one who did it and I have no issues with my equipment. I just wish I was able to do more custom stuff like glassing and what not. I'm seriously considering giving it a shot for my front door speaker pods. I'm putting my speakers in the factory locations, which isn't bad at all in my car, but I've had to cut the back of the pod out where the speaker goes to allow the magnet to fit. I want to glass it up so the enclosure has no holes in it and hopefully it'll improve the front stage a bit.

Getting your car to sound right takes a lot of time. Install is deffenitly KEY. If you have a poor install you stereo will sound bad. Even if you have a $5k set. I say give the glassing a try. Read some info online on how to do it and tips. There is info available all you have to do is search for it.

for me I know my sub is my "weakest link" I changed set ups mid season and went with one 10" where I was using 2 solo classic's. I now use one diamond 10 and it is in the correct enclosure but I have not had good success. Now I do get good up front bass and the image does not seem to move on a bass note so that is good but I just do not like it. I am also weak in the highs for now but I will remedy that as soon as I can.
