Another question about running active...

I have M6 mids, TW25 tweets, and TW19 imaging tweets.

All 4 tweets will be on one channel.

What would you recommend as ballpark starting cutoffs?

Is 2.5k too low for the tweets?

How about 80Hz to 2.5k for the M6?

The amp for the tweets is 25W x 4 but I was planning to lower the gains a good bit.

The M6's will be getting 150W each.

Any advice appreciated...

2.5k is fine for the tweeters. I find that at frequencies that low you get a lot of break up in the tweeters. I did with my ES-010. I raised my xover point and it was A LOT better. I would start around 3kHz with a 24db slope and work up. But with the M6 it's rated frequency range is up to 4kHz so I would play the tweeter at either 3 or 3.5 with a 24db slopAs far as the M6 goes. Start off at 80Hz and see if you can get it to play lower. I have my mid at 50Hz right now and they love it. I don't reccommend starting at 50Hz but decrease it to see where they can play to and play clean.
