Well i am new to the CDT brand! I had never heard of this brand until a deale on our forum recommended them to a few others to install. Well it came time for me to replace my factory set up with some much better sounding goods. 2 weeks ago i let a shop install speakers and an amp in my truck and I was not impressed with the speaker choices that were used, so im pulling them out and replacing with CDT without even knowing about them or hearing them.
I hope they sound clean and clear. Good voice, snares, kick drums, symbols etc. I want to here them vs just hearing tweet and bass from my 10in sub. Maybe my OEM head unit needs to go as well. It has a new Kicker ZX 700.5 5 ch amprated to 1050 watts @ 2ohms. But for now the OEM unit will have to wk until i can save some toy $$ up again. :( Anyway, CDT also e-mailed me and told me the package i picked would compete well against the Polks, Bostons and Infinity Ref series i was looking at.
So i hope these do the trick!
