Well I got everything out. Got the truck deadned (minus under the headliner), and got all my wires run. Now working on putting it together, getting my speakers, and finnishing up. Will be a bit as I am slower than most folks.

Most wires are run through techflex (some split and some unsplit), all other wire (just remote and amp fan wires) are run through simple spiral loom. Tweeter run has color coded zip ties about every foot or so, and all wire has been labled in middle and end of run.

I used my old box and rack for my new amp rack and I am using 4 PG tdl22 line drivers (I wanted something different but I had these already).

Tapped into my amps fans and run the new wires to the top of the amp rack where I installed a switch so I could turn the on and off whenever I wanted (bad design on an other wise good product Kicker).

I covered the cab area with about 75 cu ft of 80 mil R-blox deadner and sprayed the front floor, kick areas and the doors with noise killer (my dash and doors got a treatment as well).

When I am finnished with the wiring I will take the rack out install the new carpet and then put back; then I am ready for my kick pods and sub box (still got to do something with dash pods).

set up as of now:
alpine 9815
alpine 701
kicker sx 900.4, 650.1, and 400.2
Fi ib312
monster power
monster ground
monster remote
street wires cables
rblox deadner
PG line drivers

hopefully will add CDT drt-26 tweeters, CDT es-04 & es-06 to finnish it off.

Found this today, I think it will make for a smooth power system install. The product is in Australia, but I talked with them today, orderd it, and felt real good about the company. If anyone is interested I will let you know what I think in a week or so. Install still rolling along putting in a 180A alternator tomorrow and got someone going to help me out with some dash pods. Will post more pics. and info as I go along.

If anyone likes here is the link to the fused battery distribution terminal: http://www.projecta.com.au/catalogue/cid/35/asset_id/84

Hey Joseph...what happened to all of your kicker Amp Covers ??? I think those end caps or amp covers ( ?? ) are starting to become a highly wanted item.

lol sry haven’t been on in a while; ran into some health problems, but I am back at it now. The end caps will be in use, but are painted black to match the install. I had changed the interior myself to all black and it looked ok but not great; therefore it is now in the interior shop getting a full makeover. I now have the 701 controller mounted just below the HU (where the ash tray used to be); my digital amp controller is mounted in the roof tray, and I have some fair dash pods (not the best as I never could get enough room to do what I wanted, without a complete glass dash). I guess I will just see how they work out. I got kick pods for my mid bass and a nice box for the sub which is up front in the middle of the cab. I went a bit different with the IB part, as it was going to route under the seat and then out of the cab; now there is a hole in the bottom of the box (3") and a hole in the cab floor; I then used a shower drain to make the connection. The drain tube is 3" which goes into the box and is sealed off; then the drain part kind of flairs out (that part in on the outside of the truck) and has a metal screen with holes (perfect). I then put a filter in the drain (to catch water and unwanted debris). I also added a 180 amp alternator along with some other wiring stuff. I should be finished in a couple of weeks and ready to hit some shows; just waiting on the interior to be finished......and then got to go to the body shop....my son backed into the truck this past Sunday; but that is all good 1200-1500 in damages but could have been worse. I proly will have a real quick tune set up come the first show, so will build on those results and do some good tuning (finally got a good RTA so that should help a bit). Any way sry been gone for so long but I will be around now, and I hope to see you guys at a show or two.

Also will post some more pics in a week or so, and thanks everyone :)

OK here are a few more pics, but I promise it looks better than the pics present.

The truck is still in the interier shop, prob will be completed by next friday (dash was spiderwebbed waiting on a new one). The truck then will have to go into the body shop (where my son backed into it a couple of weeks ago; however after that all I have to do is connect the power, ground and speaker wires....ahhh and the ai-net and I will be ready to tune. Looks like it will be 2-3 weeks before I will be at any shows, but I will hit them hard when I am ready (as I also feel good now). The interier will be awsome, as I have sweade and leather everywhere. Kick pods are finnished, dash pods are now covered, amp control pod is glassed into overhead console and covered, the HU and EQ controller are raw in the pictures. I just was getting them ready and making sure I had everythig cut out right; however they are now glassed in and smoothed out nicely. The hole in the floor is for the front mounted sub (kind of IB). The speaker holes in the doors have also been glassed (as I do not use them anyway). The amp rack is nerely complete, as the finnished version will have an abs cover over the front, exposing just the amps (the abs cover will be wrapped in leather. Well I hope to see some of you guys soon.
